History
At the age of 12, Eileen Sapp gave her heart to God. Then, like Moses, she wandered here and there doing this and that for 40 years. God spoke to her about a ministry, thus Granny’s Love Ministry was established.
It began with socks that had drawn on faces and from there to wash cloths sewn in the shapes of animals. Today we have puppet night the second Monday of every month and twice a month, we have special paint shops to keep up with demand.
As of today, we have sent out more than 100,000 puppets into more than 35 countries. A lot of them where the gospel cannot be shared. Each puppet carries the plan of salvation and John 3:16, telling people how much God loves them.
At the work shop each month, many volunteers meet to trace patterns, cut out the puppets, sew, paint and package them. All ages volunteer from children to seniors. There is a place for everyone! There is much laughter, fun and fellowship, plus lots of good food.
A vision of one person and others willing to follow, led to this wonderful ministry. Granny Sapp went to be with the Lord this year, but her ministry continues. Her hearts desire was that it would go on and it has. Who could stop a ministry that reaches thousands.
